Graeme’s life has been shaped by travel from infancy.
Born in South Africa, his childhood memories are filled with recollections of the sea, the mountains, family safaris, and his first solo international trip at the tender age of 10 years old.
With qualifications in Travel & Tourism, Marketing and Hotel Operations Management, Graeme’s passion for travel, customer interaction and operations was first ignited by working with the Walt Disney Company in early 2000. Following his time with Disney, he returned to Africa and pursued a career within the hospitality industry, a path which over the past 20 years has shaped his life path and taken him on an amazing and exciting journey.
He has visited five of the seven continents, experienced over 20 different countries, and had the pleasure of working in a wide variety of leading 5-star operations, from boutique guest houses, cruise ships and remote beach resorts, to luxury safari lodges and large-scale hotels.
For the past 11 years, he has resided in New Zealand, travelling extensively across its two islands and meeting his American wife In 2016. The pair wedded on a spectacularly romantic lake overlooking the majestic Southern Alps. Prior to leaving New Zealand to come to the United States, Graeme reinvented his career path, entering the realm of luxury travel, and working with one of New Zealand’s leading inbound destination management companies.
Graeme is passionate in everything he does, and his infectious love for exploration, and discovery contributed to his abilities in creating memorable moments for clients. As part of his role as Travel Designer, Graeme thrives on using his talents, knowledge and experience to conduct conversations with our clients, sharing his love for Africa, passion for travel, and uncovering the best each region, country and destination have to offer.
