Angela heads up our South Africa office. She brings with her 20-years of travel experience and a wealth of “on the ground knowledge.”
Born and raised in KwaZulu Natal, Angela spent a couple of years along the Garden Route before settling in a small town just outside of Johannesburg.
Angela has traveled to Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania, and, of course, the whole of South Africa. She loves to plan trips with a little twist. She will encourage you to hop on an ostrich in Oudtshoorn or raft the rapids in the Victoria Falls. Some of her favorite experiences have included staying on a houseboat on Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe, tiger fishing on the Zambezi, and sipping wine while canoeing down the Zambezi surrounded by hippos and crocs! She loves a good African sunset. Another favorite experience is quad biking among the Namibian dunes and flying low over the Skeleton coast via light aircraft. She loves the rock art you find at Twelfontein and a good mokoro down the Okavango Delta. To-date, one of her most humbling experiences has been sleeping above the elephants at Abu Camp in the elephant boma while listening to the rumblings of the eles just below her.
Angela loves planning trips for families and often recommends the Garden Route in South Africa as a must do, having spent much time herself in this region herself as a child.
