Rothschild Safaris’ Jessica Faith has now made her way from Jaipur to Ranthambore National Park as part of her India safari and in her update to us today she says:

Mission accomplished! I’ve seen tigers! I knew I had a good chance of seeing these majestic animals as our guide had told us that the lack of rains have driven the tigers into the open looking for water.  Wait until you see all my photos, which I’ll share once I get home!

Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national parks in Northern India. It was once the former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, but today is mostly famous for its diurnal tigers and is a wildlife photographer’s dream destination.

In addition to the tigers, the park has a large variety of other animals including leopard, jackals, wild boar, jungle cats and crocodiles.

As we continue to hear from Jessica we will keep you updated on her adventures.  If you’re interested in an India safari, this is a great time to start planning a trip for fall, which is a perfect time to travel to India – the monsoons are over and the extreme heat has subsided. We will customize a trip to meet your specific travel desires, whether it’s exploring the amazing markets, visiting the grand palaces, meandering through villages or searching for tigers on elephant-back. Our private guides can travel with you throughout your trip, providing excellent insight into the culture and history of all the sights along the way.
