Effective January 1, the U.S. State Department will stop adding pages to U.S. passports. Previously, travelers had the option to pay for an insert of 24 passport pages when their passports did not have enough space for entry and exit visa stamps.
Starting January 1, travelers will need to renew their passports when the book runs out of pages. Travelers can choose if they prefer a 28 page or 52 page book.
