While this is totally understandable, and we will be sure to put you in camps where you will see your fill of game, we tend to encourage the idea of the “slow safari.” Slow safaris in Africa are the best way to enjoy your time there.
Just for a moment, put away your checklist. Take a deep breath. Chat with the staff at your camp. Watch the sunset from your chalet porch. Take a swim at the pool (if the resident elephants aren’t trying to drink from it).
