Itinerary

DAY 1 – YOUR MOZAMBIQUE SAFARI

Cape Town

Welcome to Africa! After learning customs, transfer into the Cape Town city center—one of the most beloved cities in the world—and start your ultimate South Africa & Mozambique safari. Arrive at One & Only Cape Town in the heart of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. After settling in, walk towards Kloof Street and enjoy dinner at one of the many fantastic local restaurants.

DAY 2

Cape Town Cableway, V&A Waterfront, and Robben Island

After breakfast, set out with your guide for a full day exploration of Cape Town. First, head to the Cableway, a fun way to reach the top of Table Mountain, taking in the dramatic views of the city and ocean below. Continue on towards the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, stopping for lunch at the Greenmarket Square. Hop on a boat to visit Robben Island before heading back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3

Cape Town Beaches

Today, you will explore some of Cape Town’s most epic beaches, including Boulders Beach, Camp’s Bay, and Clifton Beach. Finally, and then head to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. Extending south from Cape Town is the Cape of Good Hope, the peninsula that divides the Atlantic Ocean and False Bay. Cape Point, a jagged, narrow strip of land that juts out into the Atlantic and acts as the continent’s southwestern-most point. Standing here will leave you feeling like you’ve reached the edge of the world.

DAY 4

Cape Winelands

After breakfast, drive into the rolling hills of the Cape Winelands. Arrive at Delaire Graff Estate in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring the area’s wineries, boutiques, and galleries. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5

Full day Cape Winelands

Today, enjoy yet another incredible stop and get active in the Cape Winelands! After breakfast, set out into the mountains on horseback, taking time to appreciate the views. After lunch, hop on a bicycle to explore the charming village area before a series of afternoon wine tastings.

DAY 6

Sabi Sand Reserve and Safari

Today your safari begins! After a short flight to Sabi Sand you will arrive at Londolozi in time for lunch. This afternoon, set out with your guide for a game drive, exploring the area around camp teeming with wildlife, including the Big 5, White Lions, Wild Dogs, Cheetah, Hippo, and Crocodile. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7

Sabi Sand Safari

Today, set out early and head into the Sabi Sand Reserve. As the sun rises, stop for a hot breakfast set up right in the bush! Take your time enjoying the wildlife all around, heading back to camp in time for a late lunch and afternoon rest. This evening, enjoy a game drive around camp stopping for sundowner cocktails, taking in the sun setting over the dramatic landscape, before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8

Sabi Sand Reserve Walking Safari and Bush Dinner

Getting out into the bush on foot is perhaps one of the most thrilling ways to experience Safari in Africa. This morning, drive a short way from camp before setting out on foot with an armed guide. Learn to read wildlife tracks and discover some of the smaller elements of the African bush, which cannot be seen nor appreciated from the safari vehicle. Return to camp for lunch and spend the afternoon enjoying the onsite spa and pool. This evening, head out on a short game drive ending with a spectacular bush dinner under the African sky.

DAY 9

Mozambique Safari to Benguerra Island

After breakfast, fly to the pristine Indian Ocean coast of Mozambique. Hop on a little seaplane and arrive at Benguerra Island. Situated on the second largest island in the sunny Bazaruto Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique, the lodge is set in a protected marine conservation area and offers pristine beaches and unspoiled coral reefs teeming with marine life. Looking out onto a sandy beach and set on a deep lagoon unaffected by the tides, enjoy a cool drink on the beach before dinner and overnight on your first night on safari in Mozambique.

DAY 10

Mozambique Safari: Snorkeling and Beach Picnic

Today, spend the full day out exploring the underwater magic of the Indian Ocean. Witness the technicolored marine life of the Indian Ocean, flitting through the translucent waters under the searching rays of the African sun. Also keep an eye out for mighty forms of whales and dolphins swimming, the endangered dugong and the harmless reef sharks. Pass green turtles that effortlessly glide past with their wise eyes and marvel at the large, sleek forms of devil rays, with their white bellies and slate backs. Enjoy a late afternoon picnic, set up privately just for you on a sand bar, before retiring to the lodge.

DAY 11

Benguerra Island Exploration

Today, explore the island! Explore the azure lakes and creamy sand dunes on the northern side of the island, visit the modest local school, stroll among the pews of the resident church and interact with the native Mozambican people in their vibrant thatch and straw village. This day on your Mozambique safari can be customized as you like.

DAY 12

Benguerra Island

One last full day on this Mozambique safari to relax on the beach, enjoying the warm Indian Ocean and beautiful resort facilities.

DAY 13

Travel Home

Today you will fly to Johannesburg, where you will connect with your international flight home.
