Into Wild India

11 days

“India is, the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only.”

Mark Twain wasn’t wrong. Without India, our earth would be a different world.

For a start, we would have had to make do without shampoo and sugar and diamonds. And then there would also have been no Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara), Ben Kingsley (born Krishna Pandit Bhanji) or the game of snakes and ladders. One contemplates this life and cannot help but think that it would be a poor imitation.

We jest… but only a little. Because India can make anywhere else seem a little watered down in retrospect.

As Rothschild’s take you to the most remote corners of this incredible land you will experience the culture, learn about the history and view the wildlife on a safari that has been designed to be exclusive and luxurious. Accommodation is in a completely mobile but utterly resplendent camp with large tents, en-suite bathrooms, and attentive staff. Prepare your heart.
