Australia Family Adventure
This Australia Family Safari begins at Pier One Sydney Harbour. Sydney is a wonderful city for a family to enjoy together and you will hit all the highlights from gelato to kangaroos during your time here. From the city you fly to Adelaide and a working sheep station for two nights to experience rugged outback life. Luckily this also includes wineries and picturesque countryside before you explore Adelaide’s delights. On to Kangaroo Island’s pristine wilderness adventures and the Cairns, the Daintree Wet Tropics and the Great Barrier Reef before you return to Sydney for your flight home.

Upon arrival at Sydney Airport you will be met and privately transferred to the Pier One Sydney Harbour for three nights. This afternoon you are at your leisure to explore the city on your own before your Australia family safari truly begins.
Sydney, Picnic & Boating on Sydney Harbor
After breakfast, you will be met by your private guide for a wonderful family day out. Begin your day on a family tour. Take part in a picnic at the perfect spot, follow a treasure map, make gelato and take a spin on a private boat through the iconic Sydney Harbor.
Sydney, Taronga Zoo
Day three is another family fun and action-packed day which starts with a ferry ride to Taronga Zoo – the most picturesque in the world. Here it’s access-all-areas with a Zookeeper-led tour into the enclosures for up-close visits with the Aussie animals. Prepare the food, handle the animals and ask as many questions as you like. This will be a real introduction to some of Australia’s favourite furry friends.
Flight to Adelaide and Arkaba Station
Today you will fly to Adelaide and on to Arkaba Station in the Flinders Ranges for two nights at a working sheep station where you will experience an authentic slice of outback life.
Australia Family Safari – Flinders Ranges, Oratunga Track 4WD Tour
Today take a rugged 4-wheel drive tour along the Oratunga Track – a 50km long dirt track which is a thrilling excursion for 4WD enthusiasts, nature lovers, photographers, history buffs and anyone with an interest in geology. Mobs of kangaroos, emus and other abundant wildlife can be seen from open-top safari vehicles as you drive through the spectacular ancient landscape.
Flight to Adelaide and Mayfair Hotel
Travel through the Flinders Ranges, the picturesque countryside and historic villages into the Clare Valley. Visit a couple of the local wineries (for mum and dad), before continuing your journey to Adelaide, while enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way.
Adelaide, Markets & The Zoo
Adelaide and surrounds are renowned for its fine food and wine and today you’ll enjoy a taste for yourself. The market here is filled with life and excitement, treats for young and old. Your tour will finish with a drop off at Adelaide Zoo where you can meet their friendly giant pandas Wang Wang and Fu Ni, and spend the rest of the day.
Kangaroo Island and Southern Ocean Lodge
You will fly to Kangaroo Island to spend two nights at the Southern Ocean Lodge. Floating atop a secluded cliff on a rugged stretch of coast, the lodge commands peerless views of the wild Southern Ocean and pristine Kangaroo Island wilderness – great adventures await.
Kangaroo Island, Wildlife Tour & Relaxing at Southern Spa
A range of signature activities are offered daily, allowing you to encounter varied wildlife, and discover the Island’s unique natural attractions. Time out for parents? You can opt for indulgent pampering in the Southern Spa, located in a pavilion on the top of a hill with commanding views over the wild coastal landscape.
Flight to Cairns and Shangri-La The Marina
After breakfast transfer to Kingscote Airport for your return flight to Adelaide and then connect with your scheduled flight to Cairns. You will be met and privately transferred to the Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina for one night.
Daintree National Park and Silky Oaks Lodge
After breakfast, you will be met by your private guide to begin your unique rainforest tour as you travel to Daintree Wet Tropics World Heritage protected rainforest. This journey takes you up the beautiful Alexandra Range, passing through rainforest along the way. The Wet Tropics is one of the richest sites for biodiversity on earth and the Daintree is a place of spectacular beauty, rugged mountains, deep gorges and flowing rivers with numerous waterfalls. Later in the afternoon make your way to Silky Oaks Lodge where you will be staying for the next three nights.
Daintree National Park, Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef is undisputed as one of the world’s most important natural assets. The Opal Reefs provide the best possible snorkelling and diving opportunities, both the shallow coral gardens favoured by snorkelers, and the adjacent deeper walls and drop-offs preferred by scuba divers. Today you will enjoy a guided snorkelling tour.
Daintree National Park, Jungle Surfing
Today, try your hand at Jungle Surfing in the Daintree Rainforest canopy. You will be flying through the trees on fox zip-lines, stopping at 5 tree platforms to take in spectacular bird’s eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef. Jungle Surfing is safe, fun, fully guided and no experience is necessary.
Daintree National Park, at leisure
Enjoy the beauty of the tropical far north at your leisure for an entire day. Explore the billabongs by kayak, take a mountain bike ride to Mossman Gorge, or just relax by the pool.
Your Journey Ends and Departure
This morning you will be privately transferred to the Cairns Airport for your scheduled flight to Sydney where you will connect with your international flight home and your Australia family safari will come to an end.
