Galton House, a mere ten-minute drive from the center of town, is Windhoek’s newest accommodation establishment. Named after the famous explorer Sir Francis Galton, it has a relaxed but efficient style which creates a very welcoming atmosphere. Impressive wildlife photography adorns the walls whilst the rest of the interior is a combination of modern minimalistic and understated chic.

Perched on the edge of Windhoek’s northernmost affluent suburb of Eros. The nine rooms each feature an en-suite bathroom. Four rooms have a double bed, two rooms include two twin beds. The triple room has two twin & one single bed. The family room is similar to the triple room, but also includes a kiddie bed. All are equipped with internet connectivity, satellite television, coffee/tea station and general guest amenities. The communal areas consist of a large lounge, dining room, swimming pool and garden. There is also delightful ‘al fresco’ dining area by the pool, serving freshly prepared and very tasty meals. There are also a number shops, restaurants and supermarkets within easy walking distance.
