Babylonstoren is a working wine and fruit farm that dates back over 300 years. It is one of the best preserved werfs (farm yards) in the Cape Dutch tradition. The garden has over 300 varieties of plants, and each one is edible. We love the authentic working farm feel of this property. The whitewashed walls and acres of garden make it feel bright and  comfortable. We often place guests at Babylonstoren for a Cape Winelands extension pre or post safari.

We also love this property for families, because children can help collect eggs and vegetables or even feed the donkeys- a sure hit with the young ones.
