DAY 2 ARUSHA
Welcome to Africa! Upon arrival in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Arusha Hotel for your one night stay.
About Arusha Hotel: Inside the highest-quality rooms, services and cuisine all come in surroundings that reflect its history, sophistication and charm. Outside the original lush and extensive tropical gardens give the hotel a calm relaxing feel – an oasis in the center of Arusha town. The hotel has a swimming pool.
Accommodation Type & Location: Hotel located in the center of Arusha, amidst its own private tropical garden.
Guest Accommodations: 86 elegantly appointed rooms including 4 suites, 25 executive rooms and 57 standard rooms, all with en-suite bathroom facilities.

DAY 3 LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will be met by your guide in the hotel lobby and transferred by road to Lake Manyara National Park and Kirurumu Tented Lodge, where you will enjoy your one night stay.
About Kirurumu Tented Lodge: The lodge is set high on the edge of the Great Rift Escarpment just outside Lake Manyara National Park with panoramic views over Lake Manyara, the Rift Valley floor and Mt. Losimingori. Permanent tented rooms are built on stilted wooden bases designed to give each a private bush enclosure with its own undisturbed view. The open-sided dining room and naturally sanded wood and rock-enclosed bar make the most of the location and food and service are excellent. Meals rely on fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs from their own organic garden and are enhanced by a selection of fine wines.

Lake Manyara is a scenic park in northern Tanzania who’s setting at the foot of the Rift Valley Escarpment around Lake Manyara was described by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. It is home to an unusual range of habitats and species and is famous for its elephants and tree climbing lions.

DAYS 4 & 5 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Leaving the charming Lake Manyara behind you will drive to the Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed as being home to one of the 7 natural wonders of the modern world; the great wildebeest migration. After taking lunch at scenic picnic spot on route you will proceed to Serena Mbuzi Mawe, your accommodation for the next two nights.
About Serena Mbuzi Mawe: Guarded by three million year-old granite towers, this luxury tented-camp is unique. Cleverly located on one of the main annual migration corridors for over one million wildebeest, half a million zebras and gazelles, and their accompanying cast of predators it is also located at the very epicenter of one of the world’s most famous national parks. Enjoy the central fire-pit for evening sundowners.
Accommodation Type & Location: Permanent Tented Camp located in the Western Serengeti, near the Seronera and Lobo airstrips.
Guest Accommodations: The sixteen large custom-made canvas tents are widely spaced throughout the rocky glades of the camp. Reached by winding stone paths, each tent stands on a stone platform and has its own thatched roof. Opening off the spacious bedroom, is a tented bathroom, which features twin basins, shower and flush toilet. On the spacious private terrace are both safari chairs and sun loungers.
Activities: Morning and afternoon game drives in traditional safari vehicles, hot air balloon safari (Cost available upon request).
Wildlife: Serengeti is host to the largest most spectacular annual migration of wildebeest. Over two million herbivores partake in this journey, including wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle. Serengeti’s resident wildlife includes big cats, giraffe, buffalo, topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, impala, reedbuck, bushbuck, dikdik, hippopotamus, crocodile, warthog, and diverse wildlife.
About Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti is Africa’s most famous national park. It covers 5700 square miles in northwestern Tanzania stretching all the way to the Kenya border. Its vast grassland plains are the heart of the annual Great Migration where over a million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebra and impala move throughout the year in search of fresh grazing.

DAYS 6 & 7 NGORONGORO CRATER
After your morning game viewing activity and brunch, you will continue with your guide to Ngorongoro Crater and the Ngorongoro Plantation Lodge for your two night stay.
About Ngorongoro Plantation Lodge: The lodge rests on the soft, red-brown hills amidst the vastness and silence of East Africa. Everywhere you look, you can see and even feel the personal atmosphere of this owner-run lodge with furnishings that were selected with great attention to detail.
Accommodation Type & Location: Lodge located a stone’s throw from the entrance to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Guest Accommodations: Sixteen rooms lie generously distributed throughout the flowering garden, some with verandas and direct access to the garden. Each room has its own style and private bathroom facilities.
Activities: Full day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. Optional activities available include: birdwatching, a coffee plantation visit, visit a working farm, and massage (for additional cost).
Wildlife: Some 25,000 animals live in the caldera which has a diameter of 19 kilometers. Lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, black rhino, hippo. Buffalo, eland, gemsbok.
About Ngorongoro Crater
The Ngorongoro Crater is a 100 square mile natural amphitheatre in northern Tanzania created 2 million years ago when a volcano imploded leaving a 12 mile wide crater surrounded by an unbroken 2,000-foot high rim. It is home to 30,000 wild animals and provides outstanding game viewing in every season in a spectacular natural setting.

DAY 8 TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After an early morning breakfast you will take a short drive to the splendid Tarangire National Park and Maramboi Tented Camp for one night.
About Maramboi Tented Camp: The camp offers stunning views of the Manyara National Park, Rift Valley, Ngorongoro highlands and on clear days even Oldonyo Lengai a sacred mountain to the Maasai.
Accommodation Type & Location: Permanent Tented Camp located between Tarangire National park and Lake Manyara.
Guest Accommodations: Ten spacious tents built on ample wooden decks, all with en-suite facilities and private verandah.
Activities: Morning and afternoon game drives in traditional safari vehicles, guided walking safaris, bird watching and culture interactions with Datoga and Maasai tribes.
Wildlife: Herds of up to 300 elephants, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland abound, fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk, a smorgasbord for predators.
About Tarangire National Park
Tarangire covers 1100 square miles of savannah grasslands, open acacia woodland and ancient Baobab trees in northern Tanzania. During the June to November dry season, huge numbers of animals are drawn to the Tarangire River. Elephant herds of 300 can be seen along with 550 bird species and tree climbing pythons.
