This Adventure Camping Kenya Safari includes road transfers from Nairobi and a one way flight from Nairobi Wilson to the Masai Mara. All game drives are in 4×4 vehicle from the camp. Spend 3 nights in the Selenkay Conservancy followed by 3 nights in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy. Selenkay Conservancy is in the Amboseli eco-system and Ol Kinyei Conservancy is a very exclusive wildlife reserve in the Mara eco-system, teeming with animals including over 30 lions and 8 leopards.
This camping kenya safari has been designed to offer the same high quality wildlife safari experience provided by the top-end kenya safari camps, with 4×4 game viewing escorted by top class guides and in exclusive wildlife conservancies away from the tourist minibuses, but at a hugely reduced price by staying in small basic adventure camps, “real camping” instead of the luxury accommodation of the expensive up-market tented lodges.
The adventure camp operates from January 01 to April 10 and July 1 to October 31, 2012 with daily departures from Nairobi, using a minibus shuttle between Nairobi and the Selenkay camp, flying to Mara and back from Mara by road in minibus shuttle.
- Accommodation is in small 2-man dome tents. It is “real camping” and all guests need to bring their own sleeping bag as well as a towel.
- Each tent has its own flush toilet and safari shower located behind the tent.
- All meals are prepared by the camp cook. Mineral water is provided in camp and on game drives but guests need to buy their own drinks at a supermarket en route to each camp.
- The big attraction is being in small campsites in exclusive wildlife conservancies with activity-packed itineraries and excellent guides and with game drives in open-sided 4×4 safari vehicles, not minivans.
- These Adventure Camps are sited in private conservancies with a wealth of wildlife and where you can go on walks with Maasai guides and take night drives but they are also conveniently located for easy access to Amboseli National Park and the Maasai Mara Reserve.

On arrival in Nairobi today you are met and transferred to the Country Lodge for one night.

DAY 3-5 AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – SELENKAY CONSERVANCY
Meet your guide in the lobby to begin your 7 night safari. You will drive to the Selenkay Conservancy just outside Amboseli National Park three nights. During your stay enjoy wildlife viewing in the Selenkay Conservancy and a full day of wildlife viewing in Amboseli National Park.

DAY 6-8 MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK – OL KINYEI CONSERVANCY
Return to Nairobi today for your flight to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival you transfer with your guide to the Ol Kinyei Conservancy for three nights. During your stay enjoy wildlife viewing in the private Ol Kinyei Conservancy and a full day of wildlife viewing inside the Masai Mara Park.

DAY 9 YOUR JOURNEY ENDS
Road transfer to Nairobi. This evening you depart to the USA or continue to your next destination.
