A strong Arab influence prevails and can still be seen in winding streets with whitewashed houses with wooden balconies and brass-studded doors. Day 1 Zanzibar Island – Stone Town
After your safari, you will connect with your flight to Zanzibar Island. On arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred to the Tembo Hotel for your one-night stay.
Tembo Hotel is located on the seafront in Zanzibar’s historic Stone Town. This restored 19th century hotel is ornamented with Zanzibari traditional furniture and antiques of exceptional quality, which are rarely seen on the island. There is a spacious lounge facing the Indian Ocean and an inviting swimming pool.

Days 2 & 3 Zanzibar Island – Resort
This morning you will be met at your hotel and transferred to Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel for your two-night stay.
Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel is situated on an expanse of beach wilderness on the northern tip of Zanzibar Island. An ideal location for all forms of watersports or merely relaxing in the temperate water while soaking up the equatorial sun. This exclusive luxury resort was built from hand-cut fossilized coral limestone and other natural materials, and literally blends into the landscape. Your sea-facing chalet has en-suite facilities, balcony, mosquito nets and electric fans. From calamari and coconut curries to freshly grilled line fish, the Zanzibarian chefs will keep your taste buds alive with freshly prepared cuisine.
The proximity and variety of the surrounding reefs makes Ras Nungwi the perfect diving destination. A fully equipped dive center is on site and dive trips operate daily. The variety of sea life on the various coral reefs is immense, with regular sightings of dolphins, manta rays, turtles and reef sharks. Depths on most reefs range between 12 and 40 meters in a year round average water temperature of 81 degrees. The resort also offers snorkeling, beach volleyball, water-skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, deep-sea fishing and other activities in and out of the water, including mountain bike rental.
